Let's face it, the webdesign market is overly saturated, overcrowded and competition is fierce. Ever since the dot-com bubble burst back in 2000-2001, price fighting has increasingly taken over the webdesign market. Today, anyone can go shopping for a website for five hundred to a thousand bucks, complete with a simple content management system; for some, this is really all they need.
Now that the smoke has cleared and some dot-com phobia has been reduced, companies are seeing the internet is here to stay. It might at times be overrated and it may sometimes be under evaluated, but we can be sure the internet will stay an intricate and growing part of most people's daily lives and way of communication. So the question is: how do you utilize this medium to maximize the expansion of your business?
I believe the only way to get the attention your target clientele, the only way people will come back to your site, is if the experience of that site is natural, pleasant and unique. Still, the number one shortcoming of 95% of the "professional" websites is either they look and feel almost exactly the same as the rest or they look like they were made by a 15 year old kid who moonlights as a wannabe hacker. Which is why the remaining 5% are the only websites people frequent.
So what do we do differently? We look at a website as an experience, where the smallest detail can create the biggest differences. Where the code behind the website is used to create the best experience, instead of limiting the user or client. I am convinced there is a great demand for high quality websites, which do not show cracks after a couple of months and is as good today, as it will be in a year.
This is why we created Morose Media and I think anyone who is serious about their website, should consider us.
Kind regards, Werner van Alphen.
