Utrecht, The Netherlands (March 31, 2008) – Morose Media launches its first IP under Morose Media Software, WMWifiRouter. Already featured on high profile websites and with over 100,000 downloads before its first stable version was available, Morose Media is confident WMWifiRouter is taking the Windows Mobile phone market by storm.
WMWifiRouter enables users of compatible Windows Mobile phones with wifi to turn their phones into (ad-hoc) wireless access points with just one click. No longer do individual consumers or large multinational companies have to rely on expensive PMCIA devices for notebooks with separate subscriptions to enable online access. WMWifiRouter makes it simple: if you have a signal, you are online.
“This software is unique in its functionality and grants an unprecedented ease of use to consumers and corporate clients alike. WMWifiRouter is used by people who want to get online when they are away from home, but also in just in time situations when you are on a deadline and the internet connection or even the power is down. WMWifiRouter has great value for anyone that has a Windows Mobile phone with wifi,” says Jorrit Jongma, CTO, Morose Media.
Morose Media has a long-term commitment to WMWifiRouter, focusing on ease of use and functionality. Werner van Alphen, CEO, Morose Media adds: “Unlike competition emerging elsewhere, we have already released our software to the consumer market on a free trial basis. It has gone through extensive testing by both Morose Media internally as well as tens of thousands of consumers. And unlike our competition we do not market our software to telecom giants exclusively, because we believe WMWifiRouter can and will offer great functionality to everyone.”
WMWifiRouter is currently priced at €14.99 for the introduction period.
