When ProCulture approached us, they knew what they wanted from their website, but wanted us to think with them on how. This being exactly what we're good at, we jumped in and together developed a blueprint of what ProCulture.nl is today and what it could be in the near future. Taking into account these future plans, we created what ProCulture.nl is today. With our modular approach, we made sure any future features will be implemented faster, easier and at much lower cost.
The Design:
A bold, on the edge and unique company needed a design to match that. Working with the logo provided to us, we created a playful, yet professional environment in which the visitor is surprised and intrigued, but where navigation is still natural. But a design so flexible, it stays pixel perfect regardless of small or large amounts of content.
Two Websites:
ProCulture.nl has in fact two faces, a consumer and business side, with both similar and separate content. So we created two separate looks, but with a similar feel. Where the consumer website is more grounded and looks at what is now and tangible, the business website focuses more on possibilities and what is to come. This is why we chose for the ground (grass) & sky themes respectively.
The Content Management System:
With almost no static content, a vast and easy-to-use CMS (Content Management System / administrative tool for content editing) is a necessity. And with two sides to ProCulture.nl, a flexible system that can create content which is easily assigned or moved from one to the other (or both), is also mandatory. Combined with the ability to securely edit the content anywhere an internet connection is available (whether creating news items at the office, or post a weblog while they are visiting Roskilde in Denmark), you get an idea of what the CMS of ProCulture.nl feels like.
